BOOKING GUIDELINES FOR
POLITICAL AND SERVICE GROUPS
(Church groups -- please refer to the Family Ministries website)

SPEAKING FEE:

  • In good conscience, Reb cannot charge a fee for his ministry to churches. However, for political and service organizations he charges $500 a day, whether he presents one or ten sessions. Travel days are charged at the same rate.

  • Church groups who would like to book Reb to speak should go to the Family Ministries web site and follow the booking guidelines posted there.

TRAVEL:

  • We ask that convention sponsors provide airfare to all events located at a distance beyond a 3-hour drive from the Bradleys' home one-hour north of Sacramento. When Reb drives we request that he be reimbursed for mileage @ 47 cents p/mile. We will send an invoice giving total miles at the conclusion of the weekend.

  • Reb travels with a staff or family member acting as his assistant, so needs airfare for two.

  • Due to unfamiliarity with new areas, and the complications that can accompany car rentals, Reb appreciates being picked up at the airport rather than be provided a rental car.

  • To ensure flight reservations do not conflict with Reb's schedule, Family Ministries will make all travel arrangements. We will always seek to book the lowest rate available, taking into account duration and quantity of layovers. We will bill for reimbursement before the event.

  • When Reb flies we ask that Family Ministries receive $75 to cover miscellaneous expenses associated with traveling, ie: airport parking, tips, etc.

LODGING:

  • If hotel accommodations are provided, Reb needs a non-smoking room with 2 queen size beds, one for both he and his assistant, or 1 king-size bed if both Reb and Beverly travel.

PERSONNEL NEEDED:

  • Driver for airport pick up. Vehicle should be large enough to transport 4 large suitcases. (Mini or full-size vans recommended. Please, no small SUV’s).

  • In case there are problems locating Reb at the airport after arrival, he can be reached on his cell phone. Be certain those picking him up, have his cellular number with them. We will provide that number to you.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

  • Reb uses his laptop at the lectern and a video projector. He will use his own projector unless the facility has its own projector and is set up with video cable connections at the pulpit. Please notify us regarding the cable setup of your facility.

  • Lapel microphone (preferably cordless). Reb can bring his own if the facility lacks one.

SPEAKING CONTINGENCIES:

  • At multi-session conventions Reb prefers to speak as much as possible -- no need to be concerned about overworking him. Feel free to schedule as many workshops and keynotes as you like.

BOOKS AND TAPE SALES:

  • Family Ministries is a non-profit organization which publishes and distributes Reb's materials, as well as coordinates his convention speaking. In order to offer convention participants the most help possible, wherever Reb speaks he requests that display space be made available for the display of Family Ministries materials.

  • For conventions featuring exhibit halls, two adjoining booths at or near the hall entrance are necessary, at least one of which is a corner booth. A corner booth will allow the tables to be angled into an "L" formation, which will allow more people access to the booth.  If no corner booth is available three booths will be needed to accommodate the tables.

  • Reb will need at least 24 lineal feet of table space. (3 - 8' tables or 4 - 6' tables)

  • If Reb flies to a convention he will need at least 2 volunteers on duty in his booth at all times. Booth volunteers are asked to dress neatly and not too casually, ie: no shorts or baseball hats.

  • To help convention attendees find Reb's booth in the Exhibit Hall, we request that the vender name be listed as "Reb Bradley Family Ministries" in the published vender list.
